We first met the summer before starting high school and quickly became best friends, a friendship that would remain strong for many years. In 2009, we officially began a relationship that would lead to a journey of growth and new perspectives. Little did we know at the time that our relationship would guide the most formative years and memorable experiences of our life to date.
